BIOGRAPHY
Malayna Knox is a Boston-based powerhouse vocalist with over 12 years of professional experience. Her captivating voice has earned her recognition and praise from audiences and critics alike. She sings in 4 different languages, including English, French, Spanish and Italian. Malayna's musical journey began at Berklee College of Music, where she pursued a Bachelor's degree in Music Business. She has since released original music on Spotify and continues to inspire with her soulful performances. Malayna's passion for music led her to establish MK Entertainment, an entertainment booking agency that aims to elevate live music experiences.
In 2015, at the age of 18, Malayna was picked up by an artist manager and small branch label, SONY Red Music, where she recorded and released a holiday Christmas single that went on national radio stations. Unfortunately this opportunity did not move forward,
Pursing her career at Berklee, she continued to perform throughout New England, with auditions for shows such as NBC's the Voice.
In 2019, she released her first single on Spotify & iTunes "Never Love You Again", She continued to release more music, which you can find on Spotify and iTunes.
She Released her music under Malayna Johnson, but after getting married in 2023, has further presented herself as an artist as Malayna Knox.

In December of 2023, Malayna Suffered a Vocal Fold Hemorrhage, stopping her ability to both speak and sing. This was a devastating set back in her career. She focused on healing, which brought many visits and work with Voice therapists and Vocal Coaches.
Malayna's vocal idol has always been Celine Dion from since she could remember, and after the worldwide news of Dion, she found a resonating connection to vocal health and injuries.

Malayna's Vocal healing journey lasted 10 months, and in November of 2024 she was back stronger then ever.
November 2024, Malayna performed a Celine Dion Tribute show at Club Cafe in Boston, captivating the audience with tears and joy.
During her recovery period, In May 2024, Malayna Launched her company, MK Entertainment. With her passion for the Music Business and performing, as well as her talent and skills for entrepreneurship, this was the perfect step forward in her career as a woman in the music business.
